Rocco 's Café is named for Rocco Coscarelli who immigrated from Northern Italy in 1920 adapted from the menu. Serving breakfast, lunch, gourmet coffees, and spirits, Rocco 's has been serving the patrons of SOMA in San Francisco since 1990. While walking home this morning, I stumbled upon this gem. Love, love, love! I met Don tonight. I had the Chicken Picatta. It was so delicious! The chicken was cooked professionally. Not dry, very humid and many tasty sauce to suck with sourdough bread!! My roommates had Chicken Saltimbocca (5?!) and fettered stone with mussels, scallops and shrimps (even 5? . We took two Chicken Marsala to go, it was so good! The ambience is so comfortable. This place is amazing if I could give it more stars, I would. the service is amazing, and the food came so fast, and it was incredibly fresh. I got the grilled omelet, and I can literally not even put into words how delicious it was, even the coffee was good! (and I have quite high standards when it comes to coffee). the decor of this place is so cool. I love all old photos and newspaper clips. together with the music, I feel like I'm back in time. I've visited this eatery several times before. Always a good flavor leaving. Today, I have time to jot today's experience. Ruby was my contact. She was very cordial, patient and tentative with me. I never seen the bottom of my coffee mug! Steak was perfectly prepared! Classic tunes thru out my visit. Lastly, restroom was clean.
