Rockaway Beach Surf Club

I visited this restaurant with my niece, who is a surfer and lives in Rockaway Beach. I probably wouldn't have discovered it on my own, but I'm so glad I did! The atmosphere was friendly and cozy, with long tables and benches equipped with gas heaters. I thoroughly enjoyed the delicious and reasonably priced chorizo udon noodles. Hearing Spanish spoken around me made me feel right at home, as I also live in Spain. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Great little spot and not too far away from the beach. Food was good, crowd was diverse and nice. Bartender was very welcoming to the spot. DJ was playing good music and see so much potential to this place as the Rockaways keeps coming back. Also, the art work was entertaining while sipping a drink...the best though are the surfboards throughout and the original furniture. Cool vibe too!! (So true about really good sweet potato fries).

I visited NYC for a week and if you enjoy contrast, this restaurant is perfect for you! Take the ferry from Wall Street and within 90 minutes you'll be enjoying your first bites. It's so cool. End your day at the surf club. This restaurant is incredibly cool and relaxed. It has a great atmosphere and I love the crowd.

This restaurant is fantastic. The fish tacos are amazing and the Elote was delicious. The bar only accepts cash for some reason, even though all orders for the kitchen are done online. There are plenty of tables, but they do fill up quickly. The food and drinks are excellent, so it's worth it for the outdoor seating. Réservez une table maintenant

The fish tacos are delicious, and I highly recommend the guacamole. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual. This restaurant seems to be a popular spot for locals under the age of 40 in Rockaway Beach. It also attracts a lot of visitors who search for "best bars on Rockaway Beach" or "best tacos" on their phones.

Get the fish tacos because they are epic. The crew also know how to throw a decent shindig. Who knew that we can find surf culture, good grub and watch a surf movie in the New York City. Good times.
