Rockin Johnny's Diner

Visiting the Kanata area and selected this place after reviewing a few menus off of local restaurants. We were looking for somewhere reasonably priced for breakfast. This turned out not to be it. Felt deceived after arriving to find that the menu posted on their...website shows prices lower than what you'll find in the restaurant. I've posted a photo of my bill. If you compared to the website you'll find the Big Johnny is more, the Benedict omelette more and the third item I cannot find on their old menu. The food was all right although the coffee was bad. Overall I'd still considered expensive for what you got. The breakfast wrap was a reasonably priced. Overall I can't recommend this place...

Service was friendly. Cobb salad was very sub par. Drenched in dressing; avocado was inedible as they are frozen then thawed creating a mealy texture without taste; tomatoes were like winter fare with little flavour. Fresh vegetables would improve this selection greatly. Not worth the...price.

Ordered eggs over and came out so runny couldn't hardly eat them. Asked for Frank's hot sauce and was told would have to pay Can't believe that they feel the need to charge for a condiment, but put jam and ketchup on the table!...Maddie was an excellent server, thus the good rating.

The burger was very good, with lots of toppings. And the liver onions was tasty as well. Staff were very friendly, but the restaurant was cold. Needed to turn up the thermometer a bit. Made for a rather unpleasant eating atmosphere, and a hasty...retreat.

Good foods, good price. But take outs for my family of not including forks, knifes or napkins. Peanut butters were not included as per orders. They got good tips every time tho.

It was a great breakfast and the service was excellent! I’d recommend this restaurant. The washrooms were clean and the music was good Christmas songs. Great atmosphere.

We stopped for breakfast at this lovely place. Food was excellent, prices reasonable and service was prompt and friendly. Seemed like there were few regulars coming by.

So disappointed with this diner. The food was plain with little attention paid to its preparation. The one good item was the milkshake which was good. I won't return.

Food was good service was ok but little pricey for what you get. Scrambled eggs, normal serving, hash browns werent cooked enough. Service was pretty good and clean.

Liver and onions. Yum yum The rest of the food was very good also. Great family atmosphere and friendly servers.
