I finally visited the famous Riverdale diner, known as Pop's diner in the show. Contrary to what some might think, the food here is excellent! With a wide variety of menu options, I wasn’t able to try everything, but I was impressed with what I did have. We began our meal with milkshakes, which were a bit disappointing as they tasted mostly like ice cream. I ordered the beef chili bowl served with garlic bread, which was warm and comforting on a rainy day. The garlic bread was particularly delicious and complemented the chili perfectly. The burgers were nothing to write home about. The meat patties clearly came from frozen, tasting just like the average homemade burger made with frozen patties. The fries were also disappointing. With a diner that has such a reputation, one would expect them to serve good burgers made from fresh ingredients. If you're in the mood for a decent diner-style burger, it's better to save your money and head to Fat Burger instead. The service left a lot to be desired as well. The atmosphere was typical of a diner experience. I get that everyone loves this place thanks to its appearance on the TV show Riverdale, but it seems like they're relying on this fame to keep customers coming in.
I've been coming here for months with my friends, and this place truly stands out for its vibrant energy, excellent service, and delicious food. The best restaurants are those that not only satisfy your hunger but also leave you with leftovers for the next day. I’ve never had a negative experience here, and I don’t expect that to change. Keep up the fantastic work, everyone! You are one of the few 24-hour diners around!
The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, and the food was simply fantastic. The place has a charming vibe reminiscent of a classic 50's diner. I tried the Rocko's special, which featured corned beef, hollandaise sauce, poached medium eggs, and sourdough toast. The coffee was excellent, and the overall experience lived up to my expectations—it was delicious!
Huge Portions and affordable. Food was really good. Got Boss Dog and Cajun Chicken Burger with Disco Fries to eat. Charged us for to go boxes(leftovers) which doesn't make sense. Washrooms were smelly and a mess. Also got Coffee and German Chocolate and Cookies and Cream Milkshake. Its a 24hr open diner which sure helps. Rather get a take out!
I visited a 1950s-themed restaurant and had a fantastic experience! The staff was incredibly friendly, and I truly appreciated their excellent service. The food was delicious, and the quality was superb. The portions were generous, making it a great value for the price. Highly recommended!
Rocko's diner is the most North American restaurant I have ever been to. It is one of the roadside food places that appears on television and in series like Riverdale. The burgers are very delicious as well as they are cheap, and the service is excellent. It's a place that you should go.
