We decided to try this place on a whim. I didn't have high hopes. It's a tiny restaurant. When we walked in we were greeted and told to sit wherever we liked. There were 5 (4 top) tables and a sushi bar that sat maybe 10-12. We sat at the sushi bar. The server was a young guy that got our drinks out right away. The sushi chef, Jason, was really nice. He gave us recommendations on what to try here.The food was really good. The quality of the fish was really great. Everything was very fresh. I got peppered salmon yellowtail sashimi and told the chef of my food restrictions (no gluten/ soy) and he accommodated with no issues. It was delicious. What a delicious sushi spot. It has been on of my favorites for a very long time and this place never disappoints. When I come to the restaurant the server Melanie always attends and give the best service. Always treats me like a one of a king and I truly appreciate it. The chef that always makes my sushi always know how I like it and always prepares it quick and efficient. I had to write a review because it is always receive a WOW experience when I come and eat at my favorite Sushi place. Thank you so much and thanks for the great good.Parking: Great Parking.
The sushi is great, but the service sucks. I guess that is why there is a “Now Hiring” sign. I’ve been ordering sushi here for a long time. But lately when I dine in, I remember why I simply order take out. The servers are slow and inattentive/antisocial. The vibe is not as lively as it used to be. Calling all upbeat servers! Fix the vibe and improve the service here. Food is great, but the service needs immediate help. Maybe we’re coming at the wrong time. ???? Also the lemonade is not good…
If you're ordering sashimi, this place blows the socks off of most local places. Soft and butter fish. But the sushi I ordered had too much rice. There was way more rice than fish by a lot. The cut rolls were not cut the cleanest, but it was a busy night. Also, the teriyaki chicken we ordered for my daughter came out nearly 20 minutes after we ordered and 15 minutes after we got our sushi plates. The kitchen needs to pick I up.
I absolutely love this place. Probably the best sushi ever, it’s always very very fresh, even when in takeout. The sashimi is in very generous slices which is hard to find. I’ve never had a single disappointing moment in the last 5 years. No sickness, no effects or nothing like that. I absolutely adore this place and it’s worth every penny, a must try!
Great place we found while driving by. Very clean restrooms but the tables and decor can use some upgrade. Our table had pits in the and the their broke siding. We loved their sushi and miso soup. We had one of the chefs special and a tempura plate. Both were great dishes and good presentation.
I am a beginner to sushi but I know sea food its always pretty fresh the sauces a variety are delicious they take the time to teach me what is what the chef was cool and personable the waitress was attentive I will be back and you should try to oh and new love for hot sake and Orion beer
Sushi is always very good. Service used to be very good as well. Now, the service leaves something to be desired. The female who took my phone order and payment when I arrived was very unfriendly. In my opinion, she acted like I was doing her a favor by ordering food there. Pretty sad.
