This charming family-owned pizzeria takes you back in time with its delicious pizza. The menu is straightforward, offering different sizes of pies either whole or by the slice, with generous portions. The atmosphere features a nostalgic old-school order counter with stools and various postings on the walls. You'll enjoy fast, friendly service and very reasonable prices, along with plenty of tables and seating. Please note that they only accept cash and there is metered street parking available. Keep in mind that the entrance has a step, making it inaccessible for those with disabilities. Service is primarily for takeout.
Wow! The crust was perfect, the sauce was delicious, and the cheese bread was fantastic! I recently relocated to this area from northern New Jersey, and I hadn’t found any good pizza like what I had back home—until today when I discovered Rome Pizza. This will definitely be my go-to pizza place from now on. They have a small, straightforward menu with outstanding flavors. I’ll definitely be coming back for more! Service: Delivery.
I lived in Dunellen 1965 to 1978. The pizza is perfect! I was in Toms River visiting family and had to head up to the town. My uncle owned 8 on the break back then. Old school pizza place. Big fan of their style of classic pizza. Very tasty. Crispy but not dry, baked to perfection. Price is reasonable. Love the counter and old signs. Bonus arcade next door. Parking: If you’re quick you can park out front. Usually a spot along the street if you’re patient. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner

Consistently, amazing pizza. Good prices and friendly family. Also, John is great, especially if u wanna try something new. He can do thin crust, half white/half regular, etc. Just tried Nonna’ Sicilian; wow, absolutely delicious. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20
