This restaurant deserves zero stars. The owner rudely turned our family of five away without even suggesting we come back another day or make a reservation. We arrived at 6:15 pm on a Saturday night and, although we understand they may be short staffed, the way we were treated was extremely rude. The food at this restaurant is good, but the service is terrible and the owner is rude. I brought my 3-year-old son in for lunch, and he greeted the owner when we arrived. However, she did not respond to his greeting. When I politely asked for a smaller fork/spoon for my son, the owner rudely refused. It is disappointing that a restaurant with 3 high-chairs for kids does not have smaller utensils available. Even if they didn't have them, a kind response would have sufficed. The owner did not check on us during our meal, and as a result, we will not be returning. In terms of kid-friendliness, the owner was disrespectful towards my 3-year-old son.
The seafood ramen was fine, with a notable mention of the noodles' texture. However, the main issue lied in the service. The server was very rude, not acknowledging me upon entry, setting up a table and bringing water without a word, taking orders without much interaction, and finally dropping off the check without a thank you. Despite my gratitude, there was still no acknowledgment. This lack of attentiveness made for a strange dining experience, especially considering how polite she was to other customers. The dining process was drawn out longer than expected, with the subpar service ultimately affecting the overall visit.

The service at this restaurant is very quick, but it's not your typical fast food joint. They are prompt in taking your order and delivering your food. The soups and Ramen we ordered were absolutely delicious, especially the broth. This place is a must-visit!

Worst customer service we have ever had! They had us sit for over an hour waiting for just two Ramen bowels, the server was extremely rude, no apology, no information on how long we should wait to get our food. Our toddler was hungry and was crying!! I will never come back to this stupid restaurant again, not to mention the food was so terrible and soooo salty!
We live in Chicago and only can come here when shopping for skates. Ramen is great, both Chashu and beef brisket are extraordinary, so are the soup base (beef ramen has a clear soup base, Chashu has a rich soup base. If someone were tasked with destroying this business, the waitress who served us would be 100% successful in accomplishing that goal, lol. However, if you happen to have a pleasant experience and are treated with respect, you may enjoy the food, as it was decent.
