I had heard so many good things about Rooh, but walked away feeling ‘meh'. There was plenty of room in the restaurant but we were seated inches away from a noisy table. In addition, half way through our dinner another patron thought it would be a good idea to face time someone and talk very loudly on speaker. Why do restaurants allow this? The food was good, but literally swimming in gravy. Completely unnecessary. It took away from the presentation and experience. Lastly pretty pricey for slightly above average food. I'm on the fence about recommending but would say yea to let others have their own experience.
Excellent tasting menu. The food was really good and innovative. I had the veggie option and my hubby had the carnivore option. He did the drink pairing. In the past the drink pairing was really good with mixed drinks. This time there was one 1 mixed drink which was awesome and 3 wines. Granted, we are wine snobs that do wine travel and have a home cellar. The wines were only so so and we would not do the pairing in the future if it included wines. We would order off the menu or mixed drinks.
Had a birthday dinner. We were 6 people and we shared a couple of the dishes, they were all pretty good. I personally liked the sweet potato tikki and the nawabi kofta. Some dishes were a little spicy (mild) so if you do not like spicy at all, I suggest asking. The service was great, our waitress, a lovely girl was so helpful
We were there for a special Thai tasting menu dinner and it di not disappoint. The food was excellent. Our server, Donna, was great. She spent time going over an explanation of each course and was very enthusiastic. We love the Indian menu at Rooh but this special dinner was very well executed as well.

The fusion of Indian and Thai was exquisite. The service was on point. The ownership personally took care of the entire restaurant. The wine pairings were phenomenal. We are blessed to have a restaurant in this caliber in Columbus.
I love Rooh so much! The service is great, the food and drinks are AMAZING, the desert is out of this world and the decor is beautiful. Everyone is so nice and always makes sure you have what you need. 12/10
This is the best restaurant in Columbus right now if you like Indian flavors. Can't recommend it enough. The special events they started doing are on point.
Great India food. Great place for dinner date. Bit expensive but the good was so delicious.
