We visited Roots Cafe for the first time and were thoroughly impressed! There were so many options on the menu that it took us a while to make our choices. From affordable breakfast and lunch sandwiches to beautifully crafted entrees, everything is definitely worth trying! The service made us feel right at home; the staff was incredibly welcoming and available to assist us whenever we needed. Their positive attitude really made us feel valued as customers. We ordered the Italian Skillet, Night Day French Toast, Chicken Roma, Smoked Salmon Benedict, and Short Rib Benedict, all of which were fantastic!
My wife had always recommended trying out Roots Cafe, and we finally decided to stop by for brunch on Sunday morning. I ordered a pig, egg, and cheese sandwich, which stood out because it was served on a sourdough roll—this really made the sandwich for me! My wife chose the Chicken Roma sandwich, and she said it was delicious. When we arrived at 11:45, we were seated right away, but a line formed shortly thereafter. As the restaurant filled up, the service became a bit slow. Overall, we had a great experience at Roots Cafe, and I think it's safe to say we’ll be returning!
My first time visiting and definitely will not be my last. Great menu items, decent prices, friendly and helpful staff and of course GREAT FOOD. The skillets are amazing, and everything was fresh and hot. We received our orders very quickly even in the mist of a late morning rush!! It can be hard to miss from the street and the exterior is still a work in progress (as most hidden gems are) however the interior is clean, well laid out and comfortable. My new go-to spot for bunch!!
This restaurant was delightful! The decor is charming and gives the place a cozy, homey vibe. While the service was a bit slow, the staff was very friendly. The S'more Pancakes were excellent and had everything you’d want in a pancake. My little brother enjoyed the Mini Burgers from the kids' menu; they were a tad sweet but still tasty. I would highly recommend this spot, especially for breakfast. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would definitely come back! Réservez une table maintenant
Nice and spacious place with good menu. We both had the skill with me to choose the N’Awlins skill with Andouille sausage, potatoes, paprika and egg above. The sausage was fantastic and whatever they had seasoned there was perfect. The waitress was really nice. The only negative was that the chairs were quite dissatisfied, but we do not plan to stay at the end for hours when we return very soon.
