We absolutely loved the peaceful and beautiful ambiance of this restaurant. The decor was fantastic and the atmosphere was serene, which we really enjoyed. The service was good and the food was amazing. I ordered the Warm Quinoa dish, which was served with spiced jackfruit, avocado, pickled vegetables, and a delicious green dressing. My daughter had the Taco Bout It salad, which included Romaine lettuce, walnut taco meat, pico de gallo, black beans, quinoa, a flavorful cilantro lime dressing, and avocado. My mom is in town so I decided to try to take her to a few vegan spots. This was both our first time at Roots Cafe but not our last! Everything from the coffee to the food was amazing! My mom ordered an iced coffee and I started with a cold brew. Both were out of this world. We decided to share the pad Thai salad and Buffy Chicky burrito. OMG. Both dishes were delicious and filling. We did not have room for dessert but next time will make a point to try something chocolate. Our only complaint was the outdoor seating. The tables are sort of random and piecemeal. They were also dirty with leaves and debris. Also, only one had an umbrella and it was occupied so we got stuck sitting in the sun.
This restaurant is truly fantastic. Every time I visit, I am blown away by the high quality of the food and the creativity of the dishes. The atmosphere is relaxed and quirky, perfect for getting some work done, catching up with friends, or savoring an amazing vegan meal. The staff is extremely friendly and well-informed. I had the pleasure of ordering from a 15-year-old girl who was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about raw vegan cuisine. Roots has done an excellent job on their mission to offer vegan, cruelty-free, unprocessed foods to the community.
This restaurant serves the healthiest and most flavorful vegan food you can find. I appreciate that they do not use processed oils in their dishes. The flavors are rich, bold, and absolutely delicious. Eating here leaves me feeling rejuvenated, inspired, and healed every time.

Very dope vibe!! My little poochie terror was welcomed. I had the sushirrito which tasted amazing. The veggies were fresh, the vibe very laid back and whimsical. Definitely a gem!
