Roots Steakhouse Summit

This restaurant is conveniently situated in the heart of downtown Summit, making it easy to find street parking and nearby lots. The menu offers a wide variety of options, and the wine list is truly impressive, featuring highly sought-after Napa wines such as Harlan, Dominus, and Hundred Acre. The food was delicious; I particularly enjoyed the bread, the BBQ ribs that fell off the bone, and the scallop risotto. The service was friendly and professional as well. Overall, it was a great dining experience.

I had a wonderful dining experience at Roots in Summit! The food and atmosphere were exceptional. I dined in for dinner, and it was a bit pricey, costing over $100 per person. I would rate the food a perfect 5, the service a solid 5, and the atmosphere also a 5. I highly recommend trying the Warm Butter Cake, French Onion Soup, and Lobster Bisque!

5 star consistency all around. I Typically order the prime, dry aged cowboy steak, or the Porterhouse for two. Perfect medium rare every time! Can’t go wrong with anything you order here. Incredible service supper high level, supper attentive staff members. Our waiter was Emily and she made sure we will have full of her attention. The ambiance is warming. I had the crab appetizer which was so good. Crab was so fresh. The steak was perfectly done, didn't need any sauces, just fine alone. They also make the best dirty Martinis. Highly recommend when in the Morristown area.
