Easily the best NY pizza I’ve had in Colorado. In fact, I don't think I've had a NY style pizza this good since I was last in New York. This would easily hold it's own in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Staten Island, etc etc. SOME criticisms. The dough/crust was some what bland. This might have been a one off as I've only been there once. Or maybe they have short/day of rise times? Not certain. Either way it doesn't matter as this isn't Neapolitan where the crust is all the flavor and is rather a means to deliver the flavor. So with that in mind it did it's job perfectly. Perfectly cooked/crisp and maintained it's strength even though the center was very thin. Their sauce had a well developed robust flavor to it. The cheese was flavorful full fat mozz (a little greasy but that's personal preference). High quality pepperoni's that had great flavor and obviously cupped up when cooked. This is a solid 8.3 pizza (DP Scale) and while I haven't had them all (yet), you'd be hard pressed to find a better NY style pizza in Colorado.

The best little pizzeria in Longmont! The garlic knots were amazing and the pizza was absolutely perfect. You can choose from a square, Detroit-ish style (which is what we had) or the round NY style (which is what we'll get on our next trip). The pizza was delicious, and the pepperoni were extra crispy, just like we love them! There is a cute little street side dining section, right on Main Street; a comfortable and casual indoor dining section, and a wonderful homey, fairygarden-like back patio, where we joyfully sat and enjoyed our meal. I visited with my sons who were thrilled with the food and ambiance. The pizzas are huge and we had more than enough to eat, with plenty left over for lunch the next day. I highly recommend Rosalee's for a nice, casual evening out with family.

We got takeout, their largest, Square pizza(which fed about 4 people). It’s Detroit-style, which is my fav, and it hits the mark. We got their white pizza, which was kind of too plain. Felt more like cheesy garlic bread, which is good, but didn’t really feel like pizza. Kind of wish we gotten another one, but that’s what was recommended to me by a friend. The inside space looks cool, though not a lot of seating. Lots of bar seating, and a good beer selection it seemed. Hopefully I get to try it again and see how it goes. They also had pinball machines? Cool. Went back and got their salami and basil pizza. Again, I didn’t think it was anything to write home about. I think there is better pizza in town, def better square pizza in Denver.

We had heard rave reviews about rosalees. We went and it wasn’t too busy, got a seat at the bar. Ordered a smaller pizza (the one with white sauce and we added pepperoni) took a good 45+ plus to get the pizza, they did tell us it was taking awhile so that’s really okay! The pizza was huge! But I honestly wasn’t blown away. It was good, and a lot of food for the price! But I thought it was going to be way more memorable than it was. Also I got an insane rush and it was bad. Maybe it was not refrigerated or it was old, but it was not good at all.
