Rosamunde is situated inside Swan's Market at 10th and Washington in Old Oakland. Surprisingly, I have not yet tried their sausage, but I have visited this place numerous times after work for beer and fries. Their fries are deliciously crispy and reasonably priced at $3.75 for a small order and $5 for a large. I like to add chili to mine for an extra dollar. However, I have always attempted to add beer cheese for an additional dollar, but unfortunately, they never seem to have it available. Came here for dinner with my co workers. I had heard so much about the sausages here so I was extremely excited to taste the various flavors. The place had a cool ambience. Good place to come with your buddies, grab a drink and hang out. Very spacious and lively. They have large picnic tables that provide a communal experience. Air conditioned and very comfortable to hang out in. Parking sucks. It 's street parking, so when it 's busy you may have hard time finding parking. I can 't technically say I love hot dogs because hot dogs are made of beef or pork and I don 't eat either. I do however love mock dogs as I call it and this place was something we ran into as our first choice of finding Mexican food in this cute market place failed. At the peak of lunch hour the line was fairly long but went by fast. You order at the register, you 're offered a choice of two toppings and or a combo with your order and given your number. There is outdoor seating which we took advantage of with the beautiful day. Perk is they have free water. As far as condiments go they don 't have regular mustard. A great place to stop by for lunch, but proceed with caution if you want to enjoy some alkie with your bratwurst during your 9-5 : I'm quite a fan of fruits with my meats and beer, so the chicken and cherry or wild boar in a bun with grilled onions and sauerkraut make a hugely satisfying lunch. I typically walk over with a coworker since we work in the neighborhood, and we each get an order of our favorite sausage and fries on the side. Also nice to sit outside and people watch while we enjoy the meal. Can't go wrong here when you're craving a quick bite!
I visited Rosamunde Sausage Grill to have a quick meal before heading to a Warriors watch party nearby. The restaurant was not crowded when I got there. I saw that they had a wide selection of sausages on the menu. I opted for a cheddar brat with grilled onions and chili. While it didn't blow me away, it was a satisfying meal.

Kinda steep for a dog but it was tasty. Lots of sausage choices and some spicy. Add the side of fries beans or potato salad. They also have beer on tap. It was good to try once or if you have the desire for a dog. The out door seating is good if you want to hang with friends.
