Really lovely local boozer : The interior and garden have both been refurbed really thoughtfully, and now there's a big restaurant area out the back too. We've been in a handful of times and it's always got a really nice, buzzy atmosphere. We've tried a few things off the menu and the olives and focaccia fell a bit short, just because they were both pretty small for the price unfortunately. However the burgers on the main menu were REALLY good (both the vegan and the meat version . The chips were really well cooked and seasoned too, my only small gripe would be that it would've been nice to have a bit of green (like a small bit of salad on the plate. Great place to grab an after work pint, nice choice of local beers with a good mix of hipster IPAs and traditional ales. The new look suits the place and the staff are friendly and attentive. Good sized outdoor area to catch the last of the sun's rays feels a bit like a crèche with so many kids running around but this is actually perfect for us as we have a couple of our own!

Such a great renovation job, excited to have a lovely pub with good food in walking distance. Lovely decor and logbhrner, great choice of local beers on tap. Could do with some more local cider options. We went in on Friday for a few drinks and boardgames, and will be back to try the restaurant!

Brilliant pub, so glad to have it as one of our locals. Great interior and atmosphere, really friendly and helpful staff and the food is delicious. Went for a Sunday roast, had the vegan Wellington and can honestly say it's one of the best I've had in Bristol. Will definitely be back.
