visited limburg in the frame of a bus and had to find lunch. not unusual bratwerst again when we visited Christmas markets, decided to try the roseneck for lunch. the dinning room was what I had always seen as typical baverian, although not in. baver we had a stand and the friendly waiter offered us a menu in german. because I practically don't speak German that was a problem until he brought an English version. my partner said with a garnel salad that was great enough for a main course, and I had minestrone soup that was warmed and satisfied on a cold day, although far from the Italian classic in its construction. for the main courses a lasagne and a carved carving were ordered. Nicht wirklich ein Italiener. Über Spaghetti Corbonara mit Sahnesauce kann man noch hinwegsehen. Insalata Caprese auf Salatresten und statt Basilikum einfach ein paar Blätter Feldsalat und Minze ! waren wohl noch übrig in der Küche ist ein absolutes No go. Reklamation: keine Reaktion. Wahrscheinlich kannten weder Kellner und der Koch kein Basilikum.
Essen sehr lecker, Bedienung sehr freundlich. Allerdings saßen wir draußen unterm Sonnenschirm und die Sonne traf uns trotzdem ins Gesicht. Essen kam leider nicht gleichzeitig an, weil eine Bestellung vergessen wurde. WC war übrigens sehr sauber, (mit Handtüchern und Seife) was durchaus ein Pluspunkt ist.
Tolle Pizzeria und absolute Empfehlung. Pizza oder Nudeln alles top. Preis Leistung stimmt. Nette Bedienung und gute Lage in der Altstadt. Hier lässt es sich sehr gut verweilen.
