I 'd like to stress that I really do loathe leaving any business- especially a family owned business- anything less than a stellar review. But this was a truly terrible, grueling experience and it seems to be shared by many. I 'm only speaking for the South Bethany location. It was a disaster of epic proportions and I wish we 'd listened to our instinct and left after the first 18 minutes of waiting for service. The staff is chaotic, distracted and it seems a lack of leadership and direction is creating this. The red headed bearded man who waited on us seemed tangibly agitated that we were there to order. Hey, we 'd made it that far. I was ordering something simple- cheese on rye. When he exp...

The Reuben and brisket I tried were quite disappointing. While the corned beef had good flavor, the portion was small, with only a tiny amount of sauerkraut (perhaps just a tablespoon) and soggy bread. Compared to other Jewish delis where Reubens are typically stacked three to five high, Rosenfeld's only had two layers. At $17 for a Reuben, I expected much more. The brisket, priced at $19 per pound, lacked flavor. I had high hopes for a great sandwich and was willing to pay the price, but unfortunately, this first and last visit to Rosenfeld's was a significant letdown. On a positive note, the staff were friendly and seemed to be working hard, even though it looked like they were understaffe...

Exceptional food! I ordered the sampler, which included chopped liver, brisket, corned beef, whitefish, and kugel for $29. It was a generous portion that lasted me a couple of days, making it well worth the price—there was enough for 2 or 3 people. I also tried a bagel topped with lox and cream cheese; although it was on the pricey side at over $9, it was absolutely delicious. You can choose between 2 or 4 ounces of lox, and I opted for the 2-ounce portion. The corned beef sandwich was outstanding as well, priced at $17. While the prices are a bit high, the quality of the food is unbeatable. It was definitely a treat on our last day. So tasty!

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. I was really hopeful about returning to this place. My wife didn't want to go back after our last experience with the poor service and average food. However, I thought I’d give it another shot, thinking maybe they just had a bad day or were overwhelmed by summer crowds. Today, it was a quiet morning with three employees and only three customers. Unfortunately, the manager was rude and disorganized. Once again, they messed up our order twice. We waited 30 minutes for three bagels, which are just as good as those from Dunkin' or McDonald's down the street—and served much faster. Réservez une table maintenant

The Reubens are amazing and the peanut butter pie is incredible. Overall, the food is fantastic. Be sure to place your order ahead of time as it tends to get busy. If you watch for even a little while, you'll notice that they have a high volume of delivery and takeout orders. Just because the dining area isn't crowded doesn't mean they're not handling a lot of orders behind the scenes.

We're excited to have a Jewish deli in South Bethany! Every item on the menu is fantastic, from the sandwiches (we particularly adore Paul’s traditional) to the desserts and the chopped liver. The deli features a lovely atmosphere, complete with quotes on the walls that remind me of my grandmother. Additionally, the owner, Warren, is genuinely friendly. I highly recommend Rosenfeld’s!

I just ordered two lox platters and was disappointed to find only two capers in one platter and none in the other. Neither platter came with cream cheese, which was surprising. I even left a tip for the staff, but I'm not sure why, considering the poor quality of the food. The counter staff also didn't seem very enthusiastic about helping customers.

The sandwiches are truly delicious, although the prices are slightly on the higher end. We ordered the pastrami corned beef, egg salad, and matzah ball soup. We chose to dine in, and our meals were served within 10 to 15 minutes. The atmosphere and interior capture the classic deli feel. Additionally, there is a fantastic variety on the menu. I arrived during a peak time and had to wait a little longer for a table, but it was absolutely worth it. The staff was incredibly hardworking and friendly. The pickles were outstanding. I ordered the traditional turkey pastrami, which was delicious, along with the Mushroom Barley soup. Don’t forget to save some room for dessert!
