We were so excited to try this place since it's right by our house but it was pretty disappointing. We visited at 3:15pm on a Tuesday afternoon and there were only 2 other guests dining at the time. We waited about 10+ minutes for the server to take our order then another 45 minutes to finally get our food. It was obvious the server forgot to put the order in since 3 other tables that had sat down well after us got their food within 10 minutes. She also forgot to put in 2 side items we ordered and even commented on how long it took for our food to come out but no apology or anything. The food was bland unfortunately but not horrible. The staff is personal and kind. They are slow due to being shortstaffed because of the economy. But the food is always good no matter what you order. We love the chilaquilles, fried chicken, my kids love the spaghetti and fettuccine, the beans and rice are good. I don't recommend the taco salad. This is one of our consistent neighborhood restaurants. Good food, good people. If you're in a hurry, consider someplace else. Senior breakfast was quite nice. Eggs were a bit underdone for my taste, but I'll know to order a bit more done next time. The service was amazing, very attentive waiter. Kept our coffee mugs full. Atmosphere was comfortable. Wasn't crowded and we could hear our conversation, didn't have to compete with other diners, music, or noise. Hostess immediately lowered shades so we didn't have sun in our eyes. Thus was my second visit to this location. I will definitely return!

The food here is consistently amazing! My absolute favorite is the homemade pork pozole—it's the best I’ve ever tasted. I also really enjoy the machaca; it’s moist, tender, and packed with flavor. Honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything you order! The service is quick and friendly, giving it that charming small-town atmosphere where everyone seems to know each other. The waitstaff are truly top-notch in my opinion!

It was my first visit to this restaurant. The staff was a bit slow to greet us, but once we were seated, our server was attentive and provided excellent service. We ordered the menudo and added some pig's feet on the side, and it was delicious! It's a shame I live so far away; otherwise, I would definitely come back!
The staff from the owner on down are friendly quick to service your needs. The menu has home cooked style meals at reasonable prices even with the out of control inflation. The food taste great, the atmosphere/decor is comfortable inviting. I recommend Rosewoods for family dinning or a place to meet friends. Réservez une table maintenant
