This has always been my favorite restaurant. Today I was seved home fries that were the worst ever. I'm gusting, frozen and heating in the oven. They used to have the best home fries I've ever had . Just like the eggs I had, they were cold. Not hot or warm, but cold. The servers were great, and tiped, but I was very disappointed with how the quality of the food has dropped like most restaurants in the past few years. We live about 40 miles north of Middlebury and go there every time we travel south. Sadly no anymore.
My fiancé and I went to Rosie’s for breakfast with our dog. We really appreciated their pet friendliness. We sat on the patio and our server was very attentive and kind even with us being all the way outside (the restaurant is pretty large inside). She even got us a small plastic bowl with water for our dog. We each got a bacon egg and cheese on an English muffin with home fries; it was delicious! Loved how crispy and well seasoned the home fries were. No complaints.
Spent $90 dollars for a dinner of 3. The attached picture is an example of the $15 Macaroni and Cheese Meal. The other is the $9 garden salad. Ask yourself how happy you'd be to get home and find this for dinner. First and last time I'll ever set foot on that property. Bought a $50 breakfast for three people, the home-fried potatoes were so raw they crunched. Had to re-cook them at home. They were not edible. The answer from management was “we’ll make it right next time.” We did not get a refund for potatoes that crunched.
