Food was ok. Service was good and we sat outside. Drinks were pretty good. However, I will NEVER return to this establishment. I generally tip 25% but tipped 20% in this case. This place charged me a “credit card user fee” on top of the bill and sales tax. That is completely unacceptable. Who carries cash to pay for lunch these days at a restaurant? I felt taken advantage of and deceived. Why would I pay $700 annually to own a credit card and then also pay a usage fee at merchants? If you use credit card, do not go is my strong recommendation
During our road trip, we decided to stop by for a meal. The restaurant had a one-of-a-kind vibe, and even though the food wasn’t typically my preference, I stepped outside my comfort zone and tried one of their signature sandwiches. To my surprise, I ended up really enjoying it after a few bites! My mom ordered a classic cheeseburger, and she thought it was pretty tasty as well. The layout and decor of the place were fantastic. A Bloomington favorite! The food is delicious, the drinks are enjoyable, and the service is consistently excellent. The fried pickles and flatbreads are particularly tasty. Food: 5/5, Service: 5/5, Atmosphere: 5/5.
