I Googled sandwich shop near me and Rosie's was first on the list. I couldn't believe how long this sub place has been in Logan and I hadn't tried it. As soon as I walked in a young lady appeared from the back. I told her it was my first time here so please give me a minute to check out the menu. Decided on the 8 inch turkey and cheese, with provolone and a bag of chips. I didn't know hot peppers were an option until I saw the jars on the counter. Yum! It wasn't too late to add into the sandwich. All in, the sandwich was delicious, bread was fresh and plenty of meat and cheese included. There was spillage but you scoop it up and eat it, right? You don’t use good quality meats and cheese. And the bread is terrible. It’s not gonnella or turano. It’s a very low quality French bread. No sides to go along with your sandwich except chips. For the prices you charge you should most definitely be putting out a much higher quality sandwich. There’s way too many good Italian delis in Chicago to eat at than this place. It’s basically a generic sandwich shop. Nothing Italian about this place at all.
Rosie’s is great! I ordered online and I accidentally screwed up one of the ingredients in my order (which made it odd) so when I first got to the register, the cashier, Rose, double checked with me that the order was correct. It was not, so she quickly fixed it. Also, she saw my dog outside and gave a couple slices of turkey to give to him. Great service and subs. We’ll be coming back. Appreciate the loyalty card to receive a free sandwich too.
I ordered food through UberEats, and the 3oz potato salad I received was spoiled. It was fizzing in my mouth, almost like a carbonated drink. The plastic container it came in was puffed up from the gases produced by the spoiled food. I'm feeling a bit nauseous now, but thankfully nothing more serious. My tuna sandwich was also poorly made and fell apart easily. The bread was of decent quality, but honestly, I’d be better off going to Subway.

It’s fine. Although I feel like $15 sandwich with no sides or drink is just falling out of favor real fast. Even in this economy you’re essentially paying for vibes at a place like this. If you boast that so much is made in house that should more often than not yield a less expensive product. I’d also note my sandwich was served to me like mouth burning hot and by the time it was at a proper temp to eat the bread had gotten soggy.
I tried the Al Pacino sub at the Schaumburg location, and I must say, it's the best sub in the area! I also had a cannoli, which was pretty good. The location can be a bit tricky to find, but once you've been there once, you'll know your way around.
We got a classic muffuletta, chicken parm sandwich, and the Italian wedding soup. Everything was phenomenal and the folks working were so friendly, even taking extra care in how our order was packed. We will definitely be back!
I used Rosie’s sidekick to cater a backyard party and everyone was impressed. The veggie sandwich was a crowd favorite. The cannolis and giardiniera pasta salad were also phenomenal. Would definitely order from here again.

Best place to get a sandwich in the area! The ingredients are fresh, the staff is very friendly, and the food is great! I highly recommend the Deluxe Italian and chicken pozole.
Wow! These are the best sandwiches in town. They are absolutely delicious! I couldn’t stop eating them.
