A way forward: I rarely travel 5 stars for a restaurant, but here I have to do this because in Kempten there is no more beautiful and better. The old bleach is located in the Kemptner district of Sankt Mang, relatively hidden and only accessible from a side street. The parking spaces around the restaurant are simple enough, I found one more. Excellent location is the direct proximity to the Iller, i.e. the restaurant is located through a terrace directly on the river Kempten. Especially in summer there is no more beautiful restaurant location, as you have a great view and also do not perceive any noise from the city. When you enter the large restaurant, you will notice the high walls, the many glass windows and the beautiful and stylish furniture. With a lot of glass, the restaurant is very bright. There are always enough seats, usually a four table with beautiful bastions. Each table is also lovingly decorated. The menu is very good. For example, you can find something to eat as a vegetarian. Especially remarkable is the seasonal menu with regional products. Very good are mainly regional fish offers. Otherwise there are salads, pizzas, soups, pasta and smaller snacks all day. You can also eat warm at 4:00... The service is to be classified as very friendly and competent. You get good wine recommendations and don't have to wait long. A greeting from the kitchen is by the way standard! Unfortunately, the prices were slightly increased last year and the bleach is less a secret tip than before. For a good steak with supplement you pay an average of 16€. Still acceptable, you get a very tasty meal. All in all, I would call the old bleach as the best restaurant in the most beautiful location of Kemptens. Whether you want to sit comfortably on the terrace by the river at noon or book a candlelight dinner, the old bleach is the starting point number one for me.
At the entrance where the 3G rule is normally controlled, we were not seen/would not be seen. Then we ran to the counter where we were very quickly washed apart from the operation. Personnel was there enough, but we were there for a while to take care of us. We didn't feel welcome. The food was very fast after the order. The pizza was tastefully average, nothing special. We were two at dinner yesterday. We had reserved and it was assigned to the table 204. The food was very good. The start-up for food and drink went very quickly and the drinks or the food was served in a reasonable time. The clearing of the empty plates by the auxiliary waiter was also ok. But what was not right at all was that our competent waiter served the neighboring tables, but completely ignored us. We had no chance of contacting, so the desires for dessert, coffee and invoice all went over the auxiliary waiter and accordingly unreliable. On this maladministration we addressed our waiter when leaving the place. There was no reaction to this. We will no longer eat here in the future, but will no longer use the street sales
Always like dinner. A selection of dishes, for every taste and purse. The desserts and appeals are particularly recommended. Very good wines. Beautifully situated on the river, which is particularly brilliant in summer. Very good service, very child-friendly, also regarding the menu. We look forward to coming back to Kempten.
