It's sad to say Roti has gone way downhill in the past two years. I used to eat here upwards of once a week but COVID forced me from being a downtown regular diner. I came back here for the first time in a while and the experience has changed dramatically. The chicken roti was burned a bit and overcooked/charred with burnt/bitter edges. The amazing purple pickled cabbage has been replaced with what might as well be a bag of cabbage from the grocery store. The seasoned cucumber/tomato salad garnish is gone. The hummus isn't the same. The employees are flat of affect and clearly don't want to be there. It's so sad to see one of my longtime favorites mail it in. I imagine I'll give Roti another...
They prepare your meal based on the options you select. It’s a kind of Mediterranean-inspired fast food, perfect for lunch or takeout. Honestly, it’s quite far from authentic, but it might suit North American tastes well enough. It fits the fast-paced, instant culture vibe of the city. They emphasize healthy ingredients like organic produce, antibiotic-free chicken, whole wheat bread, and sustainably farmed salmon. They also do a great job catering office parties and events. Good and quick, though not exceptional. Definitely worth giving a try.
Roti is always a favorite choice among my guests whenever I select it for several business events I've hosted. The variety of wraps makes ordering simple and allows everyone to easily share halves of different options to sample. Although the delivery fee is somewhat high, the wraps come with a selection of sides, providing a generous amount of food. Typically, my mostly meat-eating guests tend to pass on the falafel wraps, which are just as delicious, so keep that in mind when ordering—or try to persuade them to give it a shot!
This used to be a great spot for lunch, but my recent experience was disappointing. I ordered the chicken rice bowl for $14, and both the rice and chicken were extremely dry. The chicken pieces were all burnt. I was very dissatisfied with both the quality and the quantity of the dish.

The falafel was the blandest that I've ever had, and we're decades of experience. I am curious about the orange turmeric beverage, though, and will probably check it out at least. The Staff was nice.
Used to love this place. Then they changed the menu and got rid of the healthy, vegetarian options. Please bring back the beet, kale and spicy cauliflower.
The chicken bowl was excellent and full of flavor. The ingredients were fresh and delicious. Overall, the service, food, and atmosphere were outstanding.
Fast efficient dining. Excellent range of great salads, pulses and sauces. An oasis of vegetables in a carnivore biased city.
