I recently had my first experience at Benny's, and sadly, it did not meet my expectations. The cashier was quite rude, and my order was not complete. I had ordered the new pokebowl, but it only came with rice and two pieces of chicken, lacking proper sauce. For $15, it was also served cold. We waited 30 minutes for our meal, even though we were the only customers in the restaurant. When I tried to express my concerns, the cashier was unprofessional, sighing and dismissing me throughout the ordering process. I went up to the counter to place my order and greeted the young woman behind the counter with a simple "hello." However, the uncomfortable look on her face and her prolonged silence made me feel quite awkward. She just stared at me without saying anything, and when I finally gave her my order, she didn’t acknowledge it with a thank you or any other response. I could tell she was capable of speaking, as she chatted with the young man working nearby. Her lack of service and poor attitude were disappointing; in my opinion, she shouldn't be working in a customer-facing role. I visited this restaurant for the first time today, and unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. As soon as I walked in, the girl who took my order was not wearing a mask and was openly complaining about how tired she was. Throughout my time there, she never put on a mask. I also noticed through a small hole in the wall that the other staff members in the back were wearing their masks either under their chins or their noses, which doesn't feel very safe for food service. By the end of my visit, I had lost my appetite and didn't want to eat my meal anymore. The owner needs to pay closer attention to their employees' adherence to safety protocols.

This is undoubtedly the worst experience I've ever had at Benny's. My order took an unbelievable 1 hour and 45 minutes to arrive, even though I live only 5 kilometers away. When the food finally arrived, it was cold, and they forgot my drink. I ordered onion rings for $5.49, and I was shocked to find only five of them included. I wish I could share a picture to illustrate how disappointing this was. Overall, the service was extremely lacking, the food was cold, and the portions were disappointing. I waited 75 minutes for my order, only to receive half of it. After another hour, I finally got the rest! What’s amusing is that one delivery guy came to my neighbor across the street, while another one arrived at my place just five minutes later. They forgot an item for my neighbor too, but her delivery guy showed up with the missing item quicker. Why couldn't they send the same delivery driver to nearby addresses? Additionally, the food arrived in regular boxes, not in a thermal bag.

I noticed something alarming! During deliveries from this restaurant (through Uber and DoorDash), the delivery staff are required to enter the kitchen to collect their orders. This is concerning because it means that anyone can access the kitchen. Access to the kitchen in any restaurant should be limited to prevent cross-contamination. I would like an explanation regarding this practice. Is this permitted by Health Canada?

I was really disappointed with my experience. I tried this place for the first time today, and unfortunately, it didn't compare favorably to Benny & Co. I ordered the wrap and chicken fingers, but the chicken wasn't crispy at all, and the sauce had a jelly-like consistency.
