We were greeted by the warm and friendly staff as soon as we arrived. With so many tempting vegan comfort food options to choose from, it was tough to make a decision. Ultimately, we opted for a variety of dishes, and the chef kindly cut the sandwiches into thirds so we could all sample different flavors. We tried the juicy Lucy burger, the un chicken wrap, and the Brie sandwich. For sides, we enjoyed tortilla chips with a cheesy sauce and coleslaw. To top it off, we indulged in strawberry shortcake shakes made with their homemade oat soft serve. We were so full by the end of our meal that the chef sent us home with freshly baked pastries. We love Roughage Eatery... The food is delicious, really amazing and fresh, and the service from Syd and the rest of the staff is top notch.We were traveling through Winnipeg and we always look for the best vegan restaurants wherever we go, and we found it here!On Friday, we enjoyed lunch so much, we ordered dinner to go... Both meals were superb. Saturday we stopped in for lunch, and came back for dinner, it was all so good!The pasta, mac cheese, salad, tot-chos, soup, sandwiches and desserts were all amazing! And we love supporting small businesses and local owners...Vegetarian options: The whole menu is vegan plant-based and delicious!

We are in Winnipeg for the weekend visiting family and were searching for a vegan restaurant to have lunch. We stopped by the Roughage Eatery and we are so glad we did! Everything is vegan and they make their seitan and vegan cheese in house. We had the Apple Brie sandwich and UnTurkey Pesto sandwich which were both absolutely delicious. We finished off with a coffee cake for dessert that was absolutely divine!!Our server Syd was SO NICE we love her so much and would come here to eat again just because of her!! Support them expanding their vegan cheese empire because we absolutely need them to come to Saskatoon!

If you're vegan, this is the perfect restaurant for you! And even if you're not, you'll discover just how delicious vegan food can be! Every dish we tasted was absolutely incredible. The food is exceptional, and the atmosphere of the place will have you wanting to return again and again. After dining here, we started making plans to visit Canada regularly just to enjoy another meal! Réservez une table maintenant

Great people serving great food. This place is by far my favourite vegan restaurant to go to. The food here is AMAZING! Definitely try the Philly cheezesteak when it’s available… as well as the la bomba chickn burger, and the French dip!!

Fantastic food, great service and atmosphere. Very clean as well. There aren't many all vegan/veggie restaurants in the city, so it's great to have places like this around. Will definitely be coming back!

Went in for the first time tonight for a special event. They had a limited menu but what we had was delicious. I would definitely go back on a quiet night. Réservez une table maintenant

The menu is simple yet excellent, and I highly recommend it. I tried the No BSLT, and it was fantastic! The coleslaw was incredibly delicious as well!

Took an Uber here from my hotel and was not disappointed! Sat outside and had the French dip. UNREAL. Sorry for the photo I already ate half lol
