Route 20 Grille - Réserver une table

Normally love this place; nice atmosphere and good food, until today. After waiting 2+ minutes for the hostess to finish her leisurely chinwag with the bartender to notice we needed to be seated, she refused to allow us (party of 2) to sit in the rear of the restaurant because those tables are for 4 people only . Huh?? I mentioned again I 'd like a larger table (as we 've done in the past with no issue; the 2-person tables are higher up and more like cocktail tables), but I was simply ignored. Note, the place was not at all busy, there was no shortage of 4-person tables. She went back to her chat with the bartender. Upon discovering the unobliging hostess was the owner 's daughter, we decide...

My beer was flat, sent it back the Stella was better. Unfortunately the special was horrible. The aju was cold, the potato was overcooked and tasted rotten. The horseradish sauce was the only thing that I 'd say was good. First and last time I will eat here.

Stopped by for lunch. Overall, it was a great experience. The staff were very welcoming.
