The chicken was okay, fresh and moist, but I found it overly seasoned. However, the brisket was a complete disappointment, a disgrace to the art of BBQ. It was so tough that I had to use my pocket knife to cut it, and it was so dry that I had to drink water just to swallow it. The fat hadn't rendered properly because it was cooked too quickly, and it was unfortunately over-seasoned. It definitely needs to be cooked slower and seasoned with less salt to avoid dry, tough meat. I originally rated this place two stars, but I’ve dropped it to one. We discovered this gem on our way to a concert at CMAC, and it was a delightful surprise. We ordered the three-meat platter, which also included three sides, cornbread, pickles, and pork rinds. Everything was absolutely delicious, from the meats to the sides. This will definitely be our go-to restaurant for concert nights or whenever we're in the area. The only downside is the 3% fee for card payments. Food: 5/5.
met here with my family. table of 6. food was great minus the greens.. way too much pepper.. inedible unfortunately. everything else was SO good though. server was awesome. Stopped on our way across upstate NY and am very happy we stumbled across this fantastic barbeque spot. Great food, nice local beers, and friendly staff with on point suggestions. Highly recommend. I’m not sure what the negative reviews are all about. I finally tried this place, and it was fantastic! The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it’s a bit pricey—$20 for a pulled pork sandwich with fries. However, the portions are large, and I will definitely be back. Food: 5/5.
