If you are looking for a hotel in a bustling, busy urban area, with a train station nearby and plenty of nearby services and venues, this is not for you, however, this location is great for many other activities and events, for both business and private events. They also have afternoon tea for instance, for locals or for anyone who wants to see the hotel. The surrounding garden is huge, with oaks, greenery, and statues. Rooms: The rooms are large and equipped well. In autumn, some non harmful insects might get inside the room, logically, as there are so many trees nearby, the large building is surrounded by gardens. Safety: The general shape of the facilities is good, and the staff looks aft...
We recently celebrated a significant wedding anniversary, hosting 15 guests for the afternoon in the hotel's Library. The venue, service and meal were exemplary, making the day a very special one for us and our guests. Food drinks: There is an excellent choice of food for celebrations. The chef was able to accommodate preferences made by several of our guests. The lunch choices were beautifully presented and absoutely delicious. Noteworthy details: It was lovely to be able to move onto the adjacent terrace, which was exclusive to us. We were able to enjoy the views of the grounds as well as giving the children in the party some freedom of space.
We had Afternoon Tea on a lovely afternoon, enjoyed a great walk in the gardens and a well served Afternoon Tea. This was a pre-cursor to my daughter's wedding due to held here in 2025, which we are all really looking forward to even more, now that we have tasted the food and enjoyed the hospitality. Appalling treatment booked hotel 6 months ago to then receive a message less than 6 weeks pre the planned arrival date unable to hold your reservation due to a function taking place . Then had the audacity to move my booking to their sister hotel. Service: 1 Réservez une table maintenant
