I love Royal Farms' chicken, so I checked the menu and saw a family meal of 8 pieces of dark meat for $9.99. However, when my daughter came out, she said the total was $35, which shocked me. She had only ordered 4 pieces—two legs and two thighs—which should have been $10.99 for dark meat. I was very upset and went back inside, but the employee behind the counter told me that wasn’t their price, that it was expired, or I had the wrong store. If that price was only for online orders, he could have explained that. The mashed potatoes were instant and tasted awful. I won’t be recommending this place anytime soon. I went to Royal Farms for the chicken but ended up leaving due to the lackluster service. I waited far longer than I would like to admit, primarily because I had already paid. Eventually, the wait became unacceptable, and I requested a refund. There were only two employees in the whole place; the cashier was new and unsure how to process a refund, so I had to wait for the cook to handle it. Overall, it was a frustrating and time-wasting experience.
Came for the chicken, left because of the service. Waited longer than I want to say without embarrassment only because I already paid. It got to the point of waiting far too long I asked for a refund. Two employees in the whole store. Cashier was on herfirst day and didn't know how to do a refund. Had to wait for the cook to get the refund. Terrible waste of time.
I usually enjoy the fried chicken at this restaurant, but my recent experience was disappointing. The chicken was dry, and I found out they had run out of several menu items. Additionally, I was told I would have to wait over 20 minutes for a few other options. I hope these issues can be resolved so I can come back in the future!

This isn't the best Royal Farms I've visited. I was disappointed because my previous experience at a Royal Farms was fantastic. It definitely seemed understaffed. The chicken sandwich was tasty, but something was off with the fries. The menu could use some improvement as well.
I was thinking about picking up a fried chicken dinner from Royal Farms tonight, but after reading the reviews, I’ve decided not to. It’s surprising to see so many one-star ratings without clear reasons, and one of the few five-star reviews was actually about movie rentals.
There was only one employee working at the store, and I felt quite sorry for him. He was managing the register while also having to run back and forth to the kitchen for orders. Unfortunately, this meant that the line quickly grew to ten people waiting.
Brandon at Royal Farms in Millersville is truly a one-man show! He offers excellent customer service—friendly, courteous, and professional. Thanks for helping me out today and making the experience with the menu so easy!

AFI shouldn't work the morning shift if she's not a morning person! Her customer service skills at 11:15 AM leave much to be desired.
