Since the menu changes we have been disappointed in the food served the quality of the food and obviously the cost of the meals . We tried several times and each time came away disappointed in what we received .. on that note the staff and service has always been fantastic and that has not changed .. Hoping you find a happy medium and people come back , we noticed a dramatic drop in customers on a saturday night , it use to be packed but now there is lucky to be half a dozen people dining.
Great venue for a cheap meal we had the 300 grm Rump with chips and salad, and the service was quick and the steak was very tender and tasty . The meal combines with a drink being a schooner of beer or soft drink for $15 is extremely cheap and good value. Other meals seem to be quite reasonably priced so worth a night out there. They have a Rewards system that gives you free tea and coffee with snacks at certain times of the day
Went for the tuesday night dinner special, 2 main meals and 2 kids meals for $36.50. What a bargain. The kids menu had plenty of choices and the main meals were big servings. Went during school holidays and it wasnt busy at all- food came quick. The kids even received any activity pack which kept them busy. Great value and excellent tasting foods!
Dropped in on a Saturday at lunchtime and a very busy popular eating place. Well and truly pub food. We had the soup and silverside which was very cheap( I think $14). We had quite a wait for our meal even though it was the common meal of the day. Interesting place to view the local Beenleigh scene. Réservez une table maintenant
Local pub for years now and the food heres always been average. High turnover of chefs here. Got good deals for lunch. Had some horrid meals here but with overcooked burgers and black and gold seafood. Always an option if you want a steak.
Decided to come here for lunch. Really wish we hadn't, we ordered the meat lovers pizza for 15.00. The pizza was under cooked, there were hardly any toppings and didn't even feed one person. It was awful. NEVER AGAIN!!!!
The steak is great for the price & so is the lunch special. It's a good local pub to go on weekdays. It usually gets really busy at lunch time on Fridays, so if you go with a group, it's best to make a reservation.
Took some customers here for lunch. Food was OK. Service was great, maybe cause we were the only ones in there midday. The place seemed clean, though I didn't venture to the washroom. Réservez une table maintenant
For $15 a meal it was ok. Nothing flash but we got what we paid for. My meal of Trawlers Plate was just warm when I received it.
