My husband and I were heading to the Rio for a couple shows. We both love Indian and heard the food was great here. They weren’t lying. It was delicious. However, the place was dead and the wait time for food was over 30 minutes. I am not sure if it was because it was so slow in the restaurant or If that is their normal speed. We got concerned that we would be pushing it to make our show. By the time we got our food, we had to cash out immediately and eat pretty fast. So, in the end, I would not recommend this if you are on a time crunch. But I’d you are looking for flavor and a chill night, I’d definitely give it a try.
The food was delicious; however, one member of our group requested an extremely mild dish, and the chef wasn't able to reduce the spice level to zero for her. The waiter did his best to assist by suggesting some yogurt to mix with the Saag, but it was still too spicy for her. The only downside was that just as we were about to leave, they seemed to bring out a table-side grill or something similar that was smoking, which made several patrons, including the four of us, start coughing. It seemed to affect more than just our table.
Really good food. Service was a little slow, very few people in restaurant but the staff seemed distracted setting up back room. Waited for drinks and ordered an appetizer that never came. Will probably try again only because the food was so good but if service isn’t better next time that will be a deal breaker. I don’t expect to be waited on hand and foot but I shouldn’t have to wait on drinks when restaurant is empty. Forgetting appetizer falls in same category they were not busy at all.
We had the dinner buffet. Everything tasted delicious! Just the right amount of spice and the naan garlic bread was so good! The customer service was very sweet. It's a beautiful restaurant too! The apricot cocktail I ordered was beautiful and tastedamazing. I would give 5/5 but the music was way too quiet and it felt a little awkward eating with no one in the restaurant. Iwill definitely be coming back for more amazing food.

My husband and I had dinner buffet during our recent visit. We loved it: good price $25, excellent service, beautiful atmosphere, all food was delicious (there wasn’t a dish we didn’t like). However, even though all dishes were delicious theywere overly hot/spicy, don’t get me wrong, we love spicy food, but an average American person would not be able to digest allthat spice. We would be back when we would stay at Rio.
The lunch buffet consisted of around 10 items. Most were vegetarian. That day they had 2 chicken items. The items I tried were pretty good, especially the chicken. The decor was pretty fancy, a high end restaurant, but the service was lacking. There wasonly one person doing everything and she would disappear for long periods of time. Selection may be limited and servicequestionable but 4 stars for the delicious food.
The service was amazing atmosphere beautiful but the food was well worth the $20 buffet a must go to when in LV inside the Rio Ask for Betty she is the best! The whole staff greeted me I felt important! A Gem!
Overall, my experience was extremely disappointing. The buffet is overpriced for what it offers, and the food lacked flavor. I would recommend steering clear of this place.

Only had buffet- at 7 PM the Tandori chicken was dry, the salad old, but the water was wet.
Great resturant. The food was terrific and the service was perfect. Gret spot.
