Royal Oak - Réserver une table

Visited the Royal Oak with a party of 9 adult family members. The Steak Night' deal was £19.50 for 2 meals and a bottle of wine. The options for mains were 8oz rump steak, gammon or chicken, with a bottle of white, red or rose...wine. If the inclusive wine was not suitable, any other bottle could be chosen for an additional charge of £3. Sole diners were given one large glass of wine. Starters and sweets could be purchased at an additional cost. My starter Wexford mushrooms was lovely the blue cheese adding flavour to the mushrooms. I chose the steak option with vegetables and chips. The meal was well cooked and a good sized portion. The rest of the group chose other starters and mains. There were no complaints. The staff were very friendly and service was good. The pub has a skittles alley which we plan to try out when we next meet at the Royal Oak!

Lovely inside but that's about it. Father in laws Beyond burnt Lasagne, rest of our food was okay'. Slow service considering it was quiet. I can understand village pubs where everybody knows everybody' as I used to live in one, but when the barmaid would...rather talk to locals than deal with customers then you have a problem.

Myself&husband stayed here in jan for one night,the hotel was lovely,the rooms are converted from barns the rooms are clean,the staff are polite &helpful,we had dinner&breakfast the food was lovely,the waiting staff were again polite,I would recommend this hotel,I will return to this hotel

a funny and cozy old English pub. it is casual and friendly and welcoming. we had booked the Skittles room that was super fun and an evening meal with finger food was a wonderful tasty. the personal was wonderful! the night has enjoyed well!

the food was good and the beak ally was in good condition and well maintained, also the staff, where very helpful and the pub was clean and had a private parking place.
