Royal Oak Family - Réservation de table

This is a very good place to eat. The chef salad is huge and fresh and the thousand island is homemade, I hear. I've also had liver and onions there, very good. Great fries! And so clean. It's a family style place so that's the atmosphere, nothing fancy. I just wish they had those pumpkin pancakes in GF, I bet they're delicious.

It was nice and clean. The service was good overall. The food was mediocre. The chicken fried steak was dry, hard, and so thin you couldn't even taste the steak just the batter.

It's a nice, little hidden gem. The food and the service were really great. The atmosphere is very humble. I recommend it. I'll definitely be returning.

It was actually a flavor filled burger. The server was nice, helpful, and quick. It's a nice stop when visiting Rensselaer.
