Royal Oak Watnall - Réservation de table

We had heard that the Royal Oak did a god Sunday lunch so we tried it for ourselves yesterday. All we had heard was spot on. The staff were friendly and attentive, the pub clean and welcoming. The food was very well cooked my wife had beef and I had pork and both were great. The portion sizes were right generous, but not too much. The vegetables were lovely, a good selection and all well prepared. The prices were incredibly competitive and the best we’ve seen. The beer and wine was also good and well priced. ALL in all a definite five star pub for Sunday dinner and a place we would return to.

I ended up at this restaurant for Sunday lunch accidentally. Initially, I thought it was just a pub that didn't serve food. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they offer delicious homemade meals, with no processed food in sight. They also have homemade desserts. The staff, who are all young, were very friendly and had great banter.

My family of four went for Sunday lunch. The staff at the restaurant were very friendly and attentive. The portions of food were generous, especially the meat dishes and creamy cauliflower cheese. The portions were so large that we couldn't finish them.

It’s really hard to find somewhere that does a decent Sunday roast, but the Royal Oak has definitely met expectations. Lovely food with a brilliant service and excellent value for money. And right on our doorstep!

Visited today and have to say probably the best pub Sunday lunch in Nottingham and staff also very welcoming will definitely be back again soon.

Never going back. Off duty barmaid permitted young daughter to place bagged dog waste on table next to eating family members.
