we visited rpg during the lawrence restaurant week 2022 for their taught meal. this consisted of the following articles. I felt like this was for the amount of food they got, quite low, but it tasted very good. the courses were well thought out, prepared and well paired. we didn't play games, but I like the concept. it is a really cool place with incredible eating. courses: ramen house gay bones broth with soba noodles, nori, scalions, shijitake, pork bell, and bush choy chili cucumber salat thin cut gurke, mein, chili’s, with furikake gyoza crispy, but tender, fresh pork and vegetables caught in an elegant gyoza the mind of the life society: hot tee, gin, lemon, honey, rhabarb bitters, all...
I truly wanted to enjoy RPG, but after my third visit, I feel compelled to share my thoughts. The food and service are below average, and the prices are simply too high for what you receive. During my last visit, we waited over 45 minutes for our food before finally inquiring about it. When the server brought it out, they mentioned it had just come from the kitchen, but every dish was lukewarm, which clearly indicated that it had been overlooked and left aside. There was no explanation or acknowledgment of the delay, just an expensive bill with an unexpected $5 board game included because we participated in the trivia event.
We were in town on weekends and stopped. We've never been there, so we had a few questions when we arrived. The young lady who greeted us was the rude person I've ever met. We asked our third question, and she grabs me and has no time for it... She asked how many we had and we and she went away to go away, as say you need a reservation. There was hardly anyone there. I've never been treated so rudely by someone in the service industry.
We hosted our Christmas Party at RPG a couple of weeks ago! It was a fantastic experience. I was able to relax and know that we would have great food and fun! It was the perfect way to kick off the Christmas season with our staff from Uplift Coffee Shop. A huge thank you to the staff at RPG for a wonderful evening. You helped make our evening special.

RPG was awesome! I had never been to a game bar/restaurant, and I will definitely be looking for more because RPG was a blast! They had good food (burger and waffle fries), good drinks, and renting the board games was cheap and a ton of fun. Definitely would recommend to any board game enthusiasts or general enjoyers of a good time!
a refreshing spin on her daily pub. Board games (like many of them,) fun drinks and delicious eating all bundled with tasteful decorations and a casual atmosphere. I could see that my friends come here to spend a competitive evening or bring my family for an intense jenga and good laugh. in any case recommend this place!
Highly recommend. Everything was amazing. My fiancé and I shared a Chefs Mac n cheese and smoked blue cheese burger. Love that they leave you alone unless you put up a food/drink sign. Also really enjoyed the diversity in the restaurant. We will be coming back very soon.
They have several amazing vegan options, we absolutely love the General Tso’s tofu! Staff is very friendly and their patio is lovely and dog-friendly. They have a huge selection of board games, I highly recommend coming here.
