Rubio's Coastal Grill

This Rubios is located in a great spot. It has really good outdoor dining space. Inside there are plenty of seating. I ordered ahead on the Rubios App. I made 3 separate orders to maximize my coupons on the app. The only real problem I had was customizing the orders. I got really confused with this. I've ordered take out from many places before but this one is the hardest to customize. The restaurant called me while I was on my way to make sure I had placed all 3 orders. Pretty good experience overall. The customer service was excellent, with the ladies behind the counter being particularly courteous and attentive. The food was good, and the portions were generous, except a little short in the chicken department of my nachos. But overall filling. The street corn was delicious!!! However, I did have one major concern that affected my overall impression of the place. The ceilings seem quite dirty, which unfortunately gave the restaurant a less-than-clean feel. It's a shame because the food and service are great, but management really needs to address the ceiling panels to enhance the overall atmosphere. its always a hit when i get to eat at rubio's! i love their blacken mahi-mahi tacos on a keto tortilla. always spot on with flavor. they have a super spicy salsa that satisfies my spicy craving. they have great tasting burritos too! service is always great and its always kept clean. you can eat outside or in their patio.

I am trying the Mexican street corn and the Mexican street corn shrimp taco. Because I just can't get enough of Rubio's Mexican street corn. I was at another Rubio's last week. The service here is also great and the decor typical cool Rubio's style.

We've been here around a dozen times over the years. Today was another good experience. Our food was ready quickly and it tasted fresh. We ate outside on the patio with our dogs. No one else was outside. Will be back.
