I recently celebrated my 50th with friends and family with a Bergische Kaffeetafel here. It’s a bit off the beaten track, but a beautiful location and the fact that it was a sunny day allowed us to also enjoy the outdoor space. The food was lovely and the service exceptional! We really couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommend it and we will be back to just have a normal meal some time.
We went here on a weekday for a late lunch....it was delicious. The service was excellent. Friendly, and helpful staff. We had tea with our lunch which was wonderful on a cooler day. The food was delicious. The setting was wonderful, loved the location, and the drive to the restaurant was lovely. A extremely nice day out.
after a walk in the ruins we had a great place in the beautiful and large garden directly on the wupper. the table arrangement is generous and you had enough space. at super weather was the andrang very big, but our waiter was on zack and has supplied us with tasty plum cake and waffeln best.
Despite the great location and the decent food, the horrible service completely blew for me. We waited almost two hours for our food, only to hear that the landlady did not enjoy her job as it was to stressful. Kept me wondering how she thought we are enjoying our empty stomachs...
