The Black Forest Cake is amazing! Their Gelato is delicious. I have yet to taste anything from this place that was not worth the stop. The pastries are all delicious. The service is definitely that old school let 's shoot the breeze style of service that you only get from a neighborhood shop that 's been there forever. The aroma that comes out of this place every time the door opens is impossible to ignore. This is one of those MUST DO 's if you are ever in Ridgewood, Queens. ~George L. Only drove by Wantagh to get two dozen Rudy's original jelly donuts, and they didn't disappoint... incredibly delicious and brought childhood memories... I recommend this bakery that is crystal clear, staff so courteous and beautiful and the coffee is delicious...we will be back!

I've been going to Rudy since the 70s before it became trendy, but it's just better year after year! With Toni at the wheel, she has made this a beautiful place to sit with friends, not just a neighborhood bakery. The breakfast sandwiches are excellent!

The best Danishes I've had in NYC are only one of the reasons I love Rudy's. The pastries of all sorts are wonderful, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming.
