Rudy's Taco Shop

I was invited to come here for dinner. The place is nothing unusual and sees that an elevator needs, it looks very tired. The food is average and the prices are high compared to the size of the servings that other Mexican food sites offer with larger sows. It took a while to get my order when the place was not so busy. I wouldn't come back. In the area are much better places with equal prices and larger portions. The owners really need to plan some changes if they want to stay in business, especially with the downward movement of the economy.

Food is ok. Place was drab. Fish taco did not impress. Carne asada fries were good. Street taco was great. Highlight was they got lengua!! Which was tender, flavorful, and juicy! I?d return for that and cabeza. Yum! Kudos for using compostable dishes instead of styrofoam. I added an extra star cox of this. Otherwise I?d give 3 stars overall.

Been going here for 20 years and never complained. Now smallest burrito I?ve ever had for the price. Added guacamole and got maybe a drizzle. Meat is still good but the amount was minimal. Really sad to see such a great spot go down hill.

As others have mentioned, the food here is excellent. I thought in real time for a breakfast Burrito not to recognize it was as big as a regular Burrito. For $8 it definitely filled me and will visit again when I'm in the area.

Fantastic Melé enchilada dish for lunch on a sunny Wednesday. Fill and tasty. Recommended!
