We have tried many places in Ruhpolding and have found that it is not so easy to find a place where the food and ambience would rise above the general tourist fare. Thatswhy Butznwirt has been a great find for us. It is nothing fancy in here - simple, but stylish interior, attentive and friendly service, food which with confidence rises above the usal local standards. It's the closest place for a foodie to have a great meal in Ruhpolding. Even this last scary bit of the road (extremely narrow and winding) is worth driving it!

despite autumn temperatures and plenty of rain in summer, we enjoyed the stay in butznwirt.Here we work with a lot of love for detail and a very great deal of kulinarik. the facilities of the rooms, the careful and charming service, as well as the excellent kitchen performance, were components of a relaxing holiday.
