BEST RICE EVER AND I RECOMMEND THE DUMPLINGS TOOOn arrival we were quickly greeted. RP has an open kitchen which is always reassuring. Its located in the cinema complex on site parking is validated. Booze is BYO with corkage.There are pretty Persian tiles, coloured light fittings wooden screens but ambiance is lacking due to bright lighting overwhelming this decor. I have never eaten plain rice by the fork-load before but the rice here was exceptional. We also had kebabs, potato curry and lamb dumplings. The dumplings were fantastic, beautifully presented. All the plates were wiped clean. We also had naan and a side of eggplant dip (fab) which were small serves.Good service.

Fantastic family run Persian Afghani restaurant, while the servings were a little on the small side for the prices, the food was perfect. Using fresh ingredients, frying in clean oil, made with love I couldn’t fault anything here. It was busy with both native Farsi speakers and plenty of Anglo’s, so obviously, the word is out.

When a new restaurant get's two five star reviews after opening, it must be good! When I arrived I was surprised to see where it was located, in the entry

A new place situated in the franchisey precinct of Norwoood cinema, yet this is a lovely genuine Persian/Afghan restaurant.
