I’m originally Canadian and have recently been exploring more of the UK and it’s food. Having eaten ribs at various places in various countries, I can confidently say these were the best ribs I’ve ever had. They fell off the bone and were very flavourful. The manager himself checked on us multiple times to ensure the food was good and that we were comfortable he also led me to the little prayer room which is always a nice feature to have. The mashed potatoes with gravy on top as a side was the perfect addition. I will definitely be coming again and have already recommended it to my friends and family.
I had read some reviews mentioning that the manager might be a problem, but we did not experience any issues with him. He was friendly and kept checking in to see if we needed anything, unlike the other staff who did not. However, we felt a bit rushed when they cleared our plates while some of us were still eating, and they seemed impatient when it came time to pay. The food, on the other hand, was quite good. The portion of chips was a bit small, but they were tasty, and the meat was cooked well. Just keep in mind that they do not have any desserts and will direct you to a nearby place for that.
I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience at this restaurant over a three-day period. The most notable dishes were excellent and made to order. I tried the filet for the first time and loved it, as well as the RNR burger on my second visit. The portions were generous, with a side of chips and salad. The desserts were limited but well-presented and tasty. The prices were fair, around $35-40 each day. The service provided by the older Asian staff members was great and polite, though the waitress was a bit slow and unrefined. I look forward to returning next year.
Ate here for the first time after hearing a lot of good things and I have to say it didn’t disappoint! We ordered the ribs as mains and they were falling off the bone, they were so tender! The mash was delicious and creamy, and with the gravy was a perfect side for a lovely meal. On top of that, the service was great and the wait for food was next to nothing. I recently dined at Rump and Ribs for the first time and had the pleasure of meeting Asif. As a wheelchair user, I often feel uneasy going to restaurants, but Asif made me feel comfortable and at ease. He assisted us in choosing our meals and explained all the different cuts of steak to us. The customer service was amazing and I will definitely be returning in the future.
had to share the starter plate and it was really good. the steak was amazing. was a bit horrified that the steak did not come with any side and had to pay for them separately, but overall it was a good experience. the service is really good. that was my second time, the first time I had the lamming and they had to die for. I recommend this place for meat lovers.
The ribs were to die for and the service was excellent. My partner and I came in for valentines and the owner gave everyone a rose and chocolates. The banter with the owner made the experience even better. It was such a lovely atmosphere and it is now my go-to in Manchester!
