Rupert's At The Edge

I've been visiting this restaurant for years, and they've always offered a vegan French toast made with hemp milk (the butter is also vegan). There's also a classic Kartoffel Hatch dish that can be made vegan by simply excluding the eggs, and you can safely request the vegan green chili. Both dishes are delicious! Plus, the coffee here is excellent!

There are several vegan options available, along with a few dishes that can be easily modified. The French toast was excellent, and the peasant potato hash was tasty as well. Although the hash wasn't dry on its own, it could have benefitted from a sauce for added flavor.

I had the Vegan French toast and potato cake, and they were delicious! The server was very nice, but was not familiar with the available vegan options (they suggested dishes that contained cheese). Réservez une table maintenant

One of the best experiences I've ever had! My server, Tom, was outstanding and knew exactly what my service dog, Aspen, needed: crispy bacon! I'm a vegetarian, but Aspen definitely enjoyed it!

Overall, I would describe the food as average. We ordered the banana bread French toast for the table, and it was quite delicious. We chose to sit outside, which is quite lovely...
