I 've had some issues in the past with the food here but today was horrible. I ordered the chicken Monterey and couldn 't even eat it; it was sooo salty. And whatever was in the seasoned rice was almost inedible. Love the onion rings but the half gallon of grease along with them is so unpleasant. I keep trying different dishes and come out disappointed almost every time. I only keep going back because my son loves the chicken tenders.Got the fried chicken once and it was burnt and dry..Got a salad and why they don 't have any kind of Italian dressing or vinaigrette is crazy.We also had an issue with the waitress last time we visited. I definitely won't be coming back. The food was below average. Our server was new, having only been there for a week, and it was clear that they weren't ready to be on their own yet. They lacked basic knowledge of the menu and unfortunately provided misleading information about what was included with our orders. This caused our table and the one next to us to end up paying about $2.50 more per order than we had expected.
I feel like I've been short sheeted. I admit it's been a year or two since I've been to Russes. I got the slim jem it was nothing like it was a few years ago.Probably 1/2 the meat and veggies.Sorry I won't be back. I'd would rather pay a little more than feel like I was taken advantage of.C ya around.
The new waitress did an outstanding job! We had some challenging customers in our group, but she handled everything with a smile. The food was excellent!

Timeless! There used to be one in my neighborhood, which brings back such wonderful memories. The food was fantastic, and the service was outstanding!
