Outside the place is the Rusticana. A sign leads the way. The advantage is that there are plenty of parking facilities for visitors. It's a circular, looks unusual. A big room without a lot of snorkels. Images on the wall. A modern counter, small schnapps showcase. In one corner an old cabinet with books and other utensils. The restaurant is often booked by groups for celebrations. So on this Sunday afternoon. Three groups have come. They are distributed on long tables, no one comes into the cross, the room is large enough. The chef/owner comes to every table and speaks a few words with the respective jubilars. Das Rusticana kenne ich bereits seit über 25 Jahren als es noch an einem anderen Ort war. Der Chef und der Geist sind der selbe geblieben. Geboten wird im Prinzip deutsche, genauer badische Küche zu bezahlbaren Preisen. Als unternehmerische Entscheidung wurden einst die Öffnungszeiten reduziert und man sollte anrufen um ein Tisch zu reservieren, am Besten sonntags zu Mittag. Die besondere Stärke des Rusticana sind Fleischgerichte, auch nach Tageskarte, die m.E. von besonderer Qualität sind. Die Bedienung ist fix, die Aushilfen freundlich und auch im vollen Lokal ist es nicht besonders laut. Den Biergarten mit viel Grün dahinter habe ich noch nicht besucht. Nix zu meckern. Wir kommen wieder.
Es ist heute leider nicht einfach gute deutsche Gerichte perfekt zubereitet zu finden. Nach langer Zeit war nicht in der Gegend) mit Freunden ein Restaurantbesuch. Tisch war reserviert. Fast alles ausgebucht. Mehrere aufmerksame und kompetente Servicekräfte. Die verschiedenen Essenswünsche kamen warm, zeitnah an unseren Tisch. Alle waren zufrieden. Ich hatte Wildgericht, sehr köstliche Soße mit Pilzen und gute Spätzle. Vorab noch gemischter Salat mit gutem Dressing auch reichlich). Also Salat schwamm nicht, es war auch nicht nur ein „ Hauch“ von Dressing. Genau die richtige Dressingmenge. Geschmacklich gut. Deutsche Küche wie man sie kaum noch findet. Preis/Leistung o.k.
There is a menu and a weekly map. Sure. Food is short and short without much “Gedöns”. The food comes quickly and is also served warm. It is not at the switch for minutes until it is served. Service personnel friendly and competent. Have ordered several dishes since I was there more often. I can recommend both fish and meat dishes. Especially wild. Only the extra salads are often prepared with too little dressing or the salad leaves are much too big. Salad should no longer be cut with the knife as a guest. The kitchen should arrange these salad leaves “only for the mouth”. Conclusion: Always happy. Price/performance is correct.

We've been here for years and are always very happy. The ambience may be somewhat uncomfortable, but the friendly cook (which introduces the specialties of the day personally at the table! and the very delicious food equals that again. I had the fresh trout and he was grilled to the point. So neither raw nor dry and he tasted excellently! I like to come back and look forward to the next daily dish:
for the establishment and the really dark atmosphere that I once pulled out of a point because the facility seems of a long time ago. I found the staff very dedicated and very friendly. We were there for lunch and were very satisfied! Price/performance very good. I had a wild boar roast with homemade late zle and salad for only 11 euros and would order it every time!
This place scores with very good bourgeois cuisine without Gedöns, but with fresh ingredients! The service is very friendly and reasonable! The ambience is more edge-like when you have tried to get a pleasant atmosphere from a large room! All-inclusive good kitchen! I'll be back when I'm in the area.
Freundliches Personal, schneller Service. Leider jedoch viel Convenience und TK im Einsatz so dass das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht mehr stimmt. Auch der Flair und das Ambiente hat das Jahr 2000 weit überlebt. Essen war nicht schlecht, aber auch kein Grund nochmal hinzugehen.
