We brunched at Rustik on a SUN afternoon took advantage of the all-you-can drink mimosas, bellinis **** marys. They have a 2.5 hr limit on their tables which was fine w/ our group being that they were fast efficient in taking the orders kept our glasses filled. We ordered: shrimp grits--creamy w/ a cajun seasoning; steak eggs which came w/ a salad potatoes--steaks were ordered medium but came back well done (yet very filling); chicken waffle--1/2 chicken (filling as well). If you come on SUN, the bar is filled with patrons watching football which lends to the noise level especially if a favorite team is playing. They also have patio dining that we initially reserved until it started raining...
Rustik Tavern is a popular restaurant located in the Clinton Hill neighborhood of Brooklyn. The restaurant has a stylish 70s-themed decor with a touch of 60s flair. The welcoming atmosphere and delicious food make it a great place to dine. They also have a lovely terrace that we look forward to trying out when the weather gets warmer. The music played during Sunday brunch was nostalgic and added to the overall experience. Whether you're catching up with old friends over bottomless cocktails or making new connections while enjoying their plant-based burgers, Rustik Tavern is a fantastic spot. The jerk wings are crispy, flavorful, and spicy, making them a must-try dish.
The Vibe was good. I love the Kale Salad. I ordered the Salmon burger with sweet potato fries. The fries was delicious. Burger wasn’t seasoned well not much flavor. We ordered bottomless Bellini for two. Then they bought us an pitcher because the wait for our food was extra long that day it was a Sunday and they was closing early. I felt my bill was a bit over the top for salad for 2 and two orders of salmon burgers and fries $158 a bit much. Nevertheless, I would probably revisit to taste other food but examine my bill a bit more. I know I was tipsy. Overall I enjoyed myself and the kale salad and fries was delicious.
Rustik Tavern is a Brooklyn staple tucked away in the Clinton Hill neighborhood. Draped in a 70s suit with a hue from the 60s, this outfit is chic. The front of the property is welcoming with open arms and the food is spectacular. They have a beautiful terrace which we hope to test in the warmest months. The background music played at Sunday brunch was nostalgic. Overall, this is a great place to rekindle old friendships over bottomless cocktails or encourage new ones while eating their plant-based burgers. The jerk wings are crisp, piquant and spicy.

I am a Black man who wanted to support this restaurant, but I do not recommend coming here. The prices are overly high for cafeteria-style food, and the atmosphere is not welcoming with depressing music and a non-Black staff. I suggest saving your money for a better experience at another Black-owned restaurant. I was disappointed to see a drumstick priced at $24 on a plate of leaves with a side of Kraft Mac n cheese, and they didn't even have an orange slice for my drink. Overall, I did not see any signs of Black excellence at this establishment.
I have always enjoyed dining at this restaurant, but I had never sat at the bar until today. I walked in last minute with a friend who was visiting from Chicago and luckily there was space at the bar. I highly recommend sitting at the bar if June is the bartender. He is a powerhouse who never stops moving and treats everyone with respect. June made a lasting impression on my friend and now he wants to return with his friends on their next trip. I’ve always loved this place but never sat at the bar. Today I walked in last minute with a friend visiting from Chicago and there was space at the bar. Choose the bar EVERY time if June is behind it. That man is a powerhouse never stops moving and treats everyone with respect. June definitely impressed my friend so much that he wants wants to return when he comes for a guys trip with friends next time. Thanks to the whole team at Rustik Tavern!
Had an amazing dinner here all he plates were delicious and the service was outstanding. We ordered the Sandford Salmon and the Braised Lamb Shank, both items came in fast, our favorite was the salmon and the Kale salad. Will definitely be back to try other items.

A peach tree grows in Brooklyn! Sit on the back patio under the leafy splendor of a huge peach tree and thriving grape vines. Happy hour is a steal. Great entrees. So reasonable (in Brooklyn! . Order one of every dessert even if you don't have a sweet tooth.
