Ruth's Chris Steak House Lake Mary

We had a group of 10 for my husband’s birthday last night. I’ll start by saying the service was great and we all enjoyed the time together. The food was good but not the quality we have come to know at Ruth’s Chris over the years and certainly not what it should have been for the cost of our bill. Some of our appetizers were barely warm. We were so hungry that we just ate all of them as is except did send back one plate of spicy shrimp and when the hot one came back out it was great. About half of the table received steaks that didn’t have the sizzling butter you look forward to at Ruth’s Chris. And the steaks were not as hot as normal when we ate them. a very rare night at this place. the service was very slow. we had a reservation of 6:45 and it was almost 10 o'clock before we left. eating was good, but not hot. on this visit are not Sizzling plates. it took forever to delete the table after we were done. we invited another couple to join us for my man's birthday. they had never been to this place and we explained that this was not the usual for this place. I hope to have a better experience next time.

We have been here many times and unfortunately our anniversary dinner was not as good as in the past. My husband’s filet mignon was not up to your usual standards. He should have said something but he didn’t want to make waves. The service was very slow but it was New Year’s Eve so maybe that’s why.

dinner was excellent. food came in the right time and was very hot and fresh. a few of us had the sea bass that was excellent. our server, boris, was very fast and took care of our needs. two manager, oliva and tiffany, stopped to make sure everything was good and properly treated. In addition to the superb food, the servers were incredibly responsive and worked as a team. Yes, it was a very busy New Year’s Eve, but the staff demeanor was calm they, and made it look easy.

We had a nice quiet evening. Lori was our server and did a great job. The food was served at the perfect temperature and the wine was a great compliment to the meal.

Continuing celebration of our 50th wedding anniversary. This is fine dining at its best. Great atmosphere, service, and food!
