I was wandering around within 10 minutes of this beautiful old church, come restaurant decided to check my maps to see what was close by. I quickly noticed this place it’s reviews which were spot on. I had a pumpkin soup starter with a pastry twist for dipping followed by their barbecue fillet steak a coffee. Even their olives were perfect. The ladies serving are lovely particularly the blonde who is warm radiant. The prices are very reasonable considering the food was impossible to discredit. The decor ambiance were lovely they offered me a complimentary shot of their own herbal liqueur which was really delicious. You couldn’t ask for more. I’d highly recommend a visit.
My partner and I had dinner at Sa Capellar on 12th Oct 2023. We ate cauliflower to start then Turbot and veg, had bread and water. The bill came to 245euro. We payed the bill in shock. The waitress had sid if you share the turbot it is 80euro. We where taken aback by price, thought as we are here will have to get on with it, so said ok. She had meant 80euro for one. so we ate cauliflower starter then turbot and veg bread and water, bill was 245 euro. The place is beautiful, the food average the price a rip off. We payed the price and where very upset by it. They even added 28euro onto price of fish that was 140euro.
El restaurante podría verse eclipsado por su ubicación. ¿Una iglesia de piedra? interior absolutamente impresionante. ¿Parece estar cerrado durante el covid? Como uno de los lugares emblemáticos de la isla y ahora adquirido por Mambo Group, se podría esperar que los grandes propietarios no sean los mejores en ocasiones, pero el servicio fue bueno. Fueron atentos y también sentí la calidez, lo cual es bastante raro en estos restaurantes propiedad de un grupo grande, tal vez uno de los más grandes de la isla. Creo que es uno de los restaurantes que debes visitar, no solo por el ambiente sino también por la comida.
La comida bien, el sitio fantástico pero el precio ridículamente caro. (Ej. Los vinos prácticamente todos por encima de 100 €, multiplicando por 4). Una pena, está orientado a extranjeros con mucho dinero o que no volverán otra vez. Espero que lo reconsideren algún día porque tienen el sitio y la cocina.

Buena comida y ambiente en una antigua iglesia del siglo XVI. El menú de comida y la carta de vinos son excelentes y la mayoría de los platos se cocinan perfectamente al carbón, incluso si todo es un poco caro. El servicio es un poco agresivo, intentar aumentar las ventas podría mejorarse.
Impresionante lugar!! Jessica, nuestra camarera, nos brinda un servicio de alto nivel. Muy atento y servicial. En cuanto a la comida, 300 euros por el filete Wagyu definitivamente no valían la pena. El tamaño del filete no era tan grande, como nos dijeron.
Enjoyed every minute of our stay. Beautiful location, nice wine and the food were amazong. Please try the broccoli as a starter. In out words ‘no es normal’
