I stopped by to pick up some Birria tacos after hearing great things about them. When I got home, I realized they had mistakenly given me regular tacos instead. I called to report the error, and they acknowledged it was their mistake. I asked if they could deliver the correct order, and they agreed—until they called back to inform me that there would be a $10 delivery charge. Seriously, what happened to good customer service? When I pointed out that it was their error and that I shouldn’t have to drive back, they told me it was my fault for not checking the order. I will never return to this place! Customer service matters, and if they continue treating customers this way, they won’t survive...
My favorite place to visit when I'm in Perth Amboy! Their empanadas are incredibly delicious and only $1 each. On Tuesdays, they offer tacos for just $1 as well. The staff is really friendly! The only downside is the parking situation.
Last night, I ordered a takeout cemita with carnitas, but instead, I received a dry, burnt breaded chicken. I also ordered a pambazo with chicken, but there was no chicken in it. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
Good food if you order for taco Tuesday you need to order ahead of time because it takes a lot of time to get your order ready. Good price though.
