It started with a little apprehension, opening the broken door into an empty restaurant on a Thursday at 8pm. The menus were hard to read due to poor print and food spilled on them, or they fell to pieces in our hands. Starters and poppadoms arrived in a reasonable time and we're fresh and tasty. Even the side salad was fresh which was a good sign. Once the plates were cleared, we ordered mains from a good choice of unusual dishes. Then we waited. The music got progressively louder, which was funny at first but got boring after the 5th play of a song that had a roaring Tiger every 30 seconds. Then we waited. The roaring Tiger played again. We waited. Then the waiter gave us new cutlery, kind of throwing it on the table, but not aggressively, just unusual for any restaurant. Roar roar again. We waited. After well over an hour, and the only customers, we got our meals. Not terrible, but mostly all the same. No heat of chilli. No spice, just bland. Well over two hours for a very underwhelming curry. The weatherspoons 100m away has more taste and 1/3 the price. Shame, but won't go again.
