rubbish this place use to be good when the old owner had it now theyv changed the food, rice was bland on eating chips were digusting the oil must of been 1 month old because they werent edible..the lamb was to tough and the i cant believe the rice is missing sultanas..def not worthy of going again, the last owner was smiling always friendly but these guys smile when they take your money and give you bad looks when they give you your food. never ever going here, id rather pay extra cash and go to original kebab king down prospect road ghan kebab house. food was not good from here im very disappointed,  oh they also shortchanged me $4 when the guy answered a call half way through giving...

Casual no fuss Afghan restaurant on prospect road just a few minutes up from O'Connel Street. It's got the drinks fridge and a loud large plasma on the wall. Service was relaxed and friendly. I ordered the three mixed kebabs with rice. At $14 the portion size very decent and tasted delicious. Rice was fluffy and season well. The chicken was some of the most tender I have tasted in a long time from any cuisine. Lamb was was also delicious. As mentioned...no fuss but great value restaurant serving delicious Afghan food. Looking forward to my next visit

We've had lunch there a couple of times. I've had the lamb korma which was quite good, and the kufta korma (meatballs in a spicy tomato sauce) which was delicious. My wife had the falafels which she said were tasty if a little on the dry side. The falafels came with a salad which was fresh but fairly basic. Serves are generous and meals come with either naan or rice.If you are in the Prospect area I can recommend this for an affordable quick meal with friendly service.

I visited Safa Kebab a while ago now. I haven't been back since, not because it was bad but because the Ghan Kebab House is down the road and is simply better. Much better. Safa can hold it's head up high in the service department however. The staff are super friendly and kind and helpful. In terms of kebabs though, if The Ghan and Saray Kebab houses are the measuring stick, from my experience Safa was around a pass mark. Réservez une table maintenant

My favorite takeaway!! Food is very tasty and healthy. Staff are great and friendly, very clean and very close by. My husband's favorite are the meatballs in chickpea sauce, my favorite is half a chicken and the boys like the mixed kebab!

I've been here several times, food is consistently great never been disappointed. Those guys are great as well service wise! And the price , you wouldn't lose an arm and a leg for the quality of food this joint serve. Keep it up guys.

Lovely !Clean food ,so well grilled both lamp and chicken ,nice spiced ,the staff are polite and helpful ,food is always ready without delay !i recommend it 100% .
